We originally wrote this post back in June 2007, as you can see, but have been frequently updating it because of the high amount of hits we’ve had since then. Michael Beasley has been our top player since then.
The hope here is to try to evaluate the rankings every week or so to properly analyze where each players stock lies. The idea is to ultimately get it right — as we did with Beasley — and watch others fall in line behind us.
We know you all came here to read about the top prospects for the 2008 NBA Draft, so let’s get right to it. Also check out the next 25 on our Top 50 page and our updated 2008 Mock Draft.
*NEW!!!* Check out TMB’s Top 25 NBA prospects for 2009.

Remember, this is not a 2008 Mock Draft.

Now that the Orlando pre-draft camp is over and individual workouts have begun, rumors are still flying all over the place and it’s time to release our latest 2007 NBA Mock Draft. We’ve taken rumors and scouting reports into consideration, along with workout results, and moved a few things around. Like before, nothing is solid at this point, but here’s how we see things unfolding as of now. Check back in one week, June 21st, for the second to last version of the Mock Draft.
UPDATE: I know your team has been out of the playoffs for a while now—that’s why you’re checking out the mock draft. I don’t blame you, the Cavs getting pummelled isn’t that exciting. But check out our Finals coverage anyway:
Ramsey and Pop
Game 3 Comments

Okay, so they finally put someone worthy out there and got Jack Ramsey to interview Popovich after the game. That’s a big makeup call for the weak correspondents they’ve been throwing out there, so we appreciate it. Still, though, I don’t want to complain, but Ramsey was doing post-game (albeit with the winning coach)—isn’t that a bit low on the totem pole? Dr. Jack won a title 30 years ago—and Doc’s team in ‘77 was a lot cooler than these Spurs. I think there was one game where Walton somehow got rebounds while he was sitting on the bench. “It blew my mind, dude,” he said. Popovich should be interviewing Ramsey considering how boring and destiny-bound this NBA Finals has been due the disgusting superiority of Pop’s team.
